Douglas competes for his clients the same way he did as an All-American athlete: disciplined, prepared, never outworked.

Douglas is a trial lawyer who tells his clients’ stories in a way judges and juries understand—simply and clearly. An All-American college athlete, he brings a competitor’s mindset to every case: relentless preparation, discipline, and a game plan built to win. Athletics taught him that victories are earned behind the scenes long before game day—and that no one wins alone. But no plan survives contact unchanged, and that’s where Douglas thrives: reading the moment, adjusting on the fly, and thinking on his feet when a case turns—whether at the negotiating table or in the courtroom. When the stakes are highest, clients have a lawyer who has trained his entire career for those moments, with experience forged at two of Alabama’s premier law firms.

His work ranges from complex shareholder disputes to cutting-edge cryptocurrency litigation the law is still catching up with. He guides businesses through high-stakes litigation, resolves battles over real estate and construction, fights for families in estate contests, and stands up for the injured and for families after a wrongful death—in courtrooms across Alabama and throughout the Southeast.

Douglas serves as Commissioner for the Alabama State Bar Board of Bar Commissioners 11th Judicial Circuit (Lauderdale County) and served as President of the Colbert County Bar Association.
